Hoop Land’s soundtrack channels the vibrant energy of classic basketball culture, blending 16-bit chiptune aesthetics with the bold, feel-good spirit of 80s and 90s sports music. The score features a lot of retro samples and vintage drum hits to mirror the game’s arcade-style action. I was also responsible for making the ambience and crowd sound effects, to match the game’s various phases and gameplay moments.
