Roar Rampage is a retro-inspired arcade beat 'em up game where you control a giant dinosaur with a boxing glove, smashing through cityscapes. For the music, we aimed to capture the nostalgic essence of '90s arcade games. To achieve this, I extensively utilized my vintage MIDI modules and incorporated gritty, lo-fi guitar samples. The result is a fun and catchy soundtrack that perfectly complements the game’s chaotic and destructive atmosphere, immersing players in a retro gaming experience.
